The last edition was dominated by Team Lampre-Merida with the victory of Michele Scarponi. Also this year the path is confirmed hard, technical and insidious with the double ascent of Torre Segalari (the second post at 10km from the finish of Donoratico) and the uncertain weather conditions that could decide the contest.
