The Coppi & Bartali gives other results and satisfaction to the NIPPO Vini Fantini De Rosa team. After the third place of Daniele Colli in the third stage, now the second podium in two days for the team, the first one for Damiano Cunego with the new #Orangeblue jersey.
“It is a great emotion to achieve the podium, especially with and for my new team, also if I’ve a little bit of regrets about the victory that it was so close to come. I want to congratulate with Mienties, a young rider that won an hard race. My second position it is a great signal for all the team that, like me, has work a lot and in these two days has begun to pick up some good things with two podium. Now we can back to training to prepare as best as possibile next races. After the third place of Daniele Colli, and my second place, now we want to win.”
The race has been at high rhythm since from the start. The three GPM and the high rhythm gives to the public a great show. For Damiano Cunego not a lucky race, before a problem with nose bleed, than an episode with the team car of MTN at high speed going out of street just in front of Cunego & Rebellin. Luckily everyone is fine & safe. The determination of Damiano has been second only to the one of Meinties that deserved this victory. The first podium of Damiano Cunego it is a great satisfaction for all the team, from the management to the staff, also if with a little bit of regrets for the missed victory.
