After the success of yesterday, today, the athlete who defends the colors of “Blue Mountain”Team has repeated his success in the queen stage of the Carpathian Couriers Race. A fall of the group, in the final, didn’t allow him to win also the overall standings. He won the leadership in the special ranking points.
There are four victories for Team Vini Fantini – NIPPO – De Rosa, the second of Eduard Grosu. The strong athlete directed by Stefano Giuliani won also the most difficult stage of the Carpathian Couriers Race, the sixth and last one.
Grosu became the protagonist with another issue: in the end he escaped and he arrived alone at the finish line in Tarnów.
The Dabrowa Tarnowska – Tarnów, 149 km, gave emotions to Team Vini Fantini – NIPPO – De Rosa , thanks to the young Eduard Grosu, that on the streets of the East has confirmed his potential and his good physical condition. The misfortune, however, didn’t allow the athlete of Team "Blue Mountain" of to conquer the overall standings . A fall in the last 1,000 meters involved most of the athletes in the group, including the yellow jersey worn by Gregor Mülberger, so as rules provides, time offset and "victory escaped".
