Giovanni Toti, the president of the Region of Liguria, greets the professional riders of the team NIPPO Vini Fantini Europa Ovini, gathered in the city for the second training camp of the season. This is the right occasion for the President of the Region to celebrate the only Ligurian Professional Cycling team, based in La Spezia, and celebrate all together the sportive results obtained in 2017 and hope for a 2018 season rich of satisfactions.
INTERNATIONALITY AND LINK WITH TERRITORY
To make the honors are Francesco Pelosi, General Manager of the #OrangeBlue team, and Nicholas Figoli, Marketing Manager of the team, both founders of the Communication and Marketing agency Sun-TIMES, based in La Spezia and Milan. Francesco Pelosi introduces to the President Giovanni Toti the professional riders of the Italian and Japanese team and all the staff, gathered to celebrate this day of sport. The victories of Marco Canola, the extraordinary career of Damiano Cunego, the anecdotes of the sports directors Mario Manzoni and Valerio Tebaldi have been the main sports themes that emerge in a context that we could define as “Local Internationality”.
An international team but that does not forget its origins. Once again, the training camp that closes the 2017 season and that gives life to 2018 has been achieved in the city of La Spezia, confirming the link with this territory. A link strongly appreciated by Giovanni Toti and the councilor of the Region of Liguria Giacomo Raul Giampedrone, who was also present for the occasion.

A WEEKEND OF IMPORTANT EVENTS
The visit of the President of the Region of Liguria Giovanni Toti to the NIPPO Vini Fantini Europa Ovini team, closes a weekend full of events for the #OrangeBlue team and La Spezia citizens. On Saturday, during the party of the Amegliese Cycling, who took place at the “Adriano Cuffini” Cycling Museum in Montemarcello, Damiano Cunego received the career award. Giancarlo Zoppi, co-founder of the Museum of Cycling, together with the sports councilor of Ameglia Gregorio Ravani, gave to the leader of the OrangeBlue team the “Compass” with a special dedication: “You have always found the right course, hope it could be a good luck to maintain it”.
THE FAN RIDE WITH THE TEAM
On Sunday the NIPPO Vini Fantini Europa Ovini Team met the fan and several Ligurian cyclists to ride through the street of La Spezia. More than 100 cyclists have accepted the invite of the Italian and Japanese team, to ride and talk with Damiano Cunego, Marco Canola and all the professional riders of the team, riding together the Ameglia climb. Once again the final stage of the route was the Cycling Museum of Montemarcello, which hosted the #OrangeBlue riders into the “temple” full of national and international cycling story. There was no lack of competitive moment, when at the beginning of the final climb started a funny challenge between some cyclists and the #OrangeBlue riders. The final ranking does not matter, the new season is coming and the support of the numerous fan will be the best way to start a new season that a lot of people wish to be full of successes marked by NIPPO Vini Fantini Europa Ovini.
