NIPPO Vini Fantini Team closed the Tour d’Azerbaïdjan, important appointment ahead of the forthcoming Tour of Japan, with 1 podium, 3 Top 10 placement and the 9th place of Hideto Nakane, best of Asian rider.
The leading protagonists for Italian-Japanese team were Hideto Nakane and Pierpaolo De Negri, supported by the Team to achieve the important place on final ranking for the first rider and to achieve 1 podium and 2 placements in Top 10 for the second rider.
Hideto Nakane, already “Best of Asian” in Tour de Langkawi 2017, closed at 9th place the final ranking in Azerbaïdjan and confirming again the best Asian rider in the race. It’s an important result ahead of the forthcoming Tour of Japan, scheduled from 21 to 28 of May, where NIPPO Vini Fantini Team wants to be protagonist. This placement on Top 10 by Hideto Nakane once again demonstrates the effort of the team to reach his goal: To grow up the best Italian-Japanese talents looking forward to Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Pierpaolo De Negri, the Italian expert rider, demonstrated a great condition gained a podium and 2 Top 10 placements during the stages of the Tour and close at 17th place the Final Ranking.
Another Top 10 for Ivan Santaromita, important team worker who with Kohei Uchima and Kazushige Kuboki helped the Japanese climber to achieve the important result.
