Marco Tizza is a new #OrangeBlue rider for the 2018 season. The rider from Giussano, born in 1992, in the current season riding for the Continental GM Europa Ovini team, will be a new NIPPO Vini Fantini Europa Ovini rider in 2018. For him the new professional adventure has already started with a special work experience, as already done by Marco Canola and the other teammates in the begin of 2017 season.
The merge already announced of the two teams, NIPPO Vini Fantini and GM Europa Ovini, is taking shape and is now complete. After the arrival of the Sport Director Donati, is now official also the signature of Marco Tizza one of the best riders of the 2017 Continental team GM Europa Ovini in which he rode in the two previous seasons.
For him the official cycling debut in #OrangeBlue will be in the 2018 season, but he already has been involved in a special activity studied by the NIPPO Vini Fantini Europa Ovini team: the “work experience”. This special working experience took place in Europa Ovini, the company of Gabriele Marchesani, the new third sponsor of the team and leader in the production and export of the typical food of Abruzzo: “arrosticini”.
THE RIDER.
Marco Tizza is a all round rider, that demonstrated a great growth in thess first years as a PRO, deserving this upgrade to the Professional category. After the 8th place in the “Piccolo Giro di Lombardia” in 2014, among PROs he collected many good placements as the 5th place in the Memorial Marco Pantani and the 10th place in the Giro dell’Appennino in 2016.
The current season with the GM Europa Ovini was the best of his career with 10 top10 placements, as the 6th place in the Coppa Agostoni.
A complete rider, able to be fast and to resist in the medium climbs, so very important to support the leader Marco Canola and to improve the placements in the Italian races valid for the Ciclismo Cup.
THE WORK EXPERIENCE.
To welcome him in the NIPPO Vini Fantini Europa Ovini team is Gabriele Marchesani, CEO of the Europa Ovini company, one of the 3 main sponsors of the team. For Marco Tizza the new season already started in the sponsor company, as already done in the end of 2016 for his #OrangeBlue teammates. The idea comes from the General Manager Francesco Pelosi, started at the begin of the 2017 season with many NIPPO Vini Fantini riders hosted for a week of working experience by all the main sponsor companies of the team, to learn how it works an office and how it is important also the team working inside a company, as it is inside a cycling team.
The results in terms of determination and results have been seen on the road during this year.
To congratulate with Marco Tizza for his new contract and for the working experience is the CEO of the company Europa Ovini, that supervised all the job made by the rider inside his company headquarter in Ripa Teatina: “Marco has done a good job, working hard with involvement and sympathy. He worked with our production colleagues on the typical product of Abruzzo: the “Arrosticini”. Now is time for him to be back on his bike and I hope he will reach the results he deserves with his new teammates.”
THE ITALIAN-JAPANESE TEAM, SPEAKS ENGLISH.
Not only work experience, the cultural sports and cultural bridge between Italy and Japan has been created, but the team has to face with a always more international race calendar with riders and staff of different nationalities as the Spanish Joan Bou, the Rumanian Eduard Grosu and the numerous Italian and Japanese riders.
The integration among Italian and Japanese staff is going in the best way, and now to keep improving the level of professionally of the team and to improve the race communications the General Manager of the team Francesco Pelosi, announced another news for the 2018 training camps:
“From 2018 in all the team training camps an english teacher will be with the team to help and support both riders and staff. In this way we will improve the level of professionally of our team. Both the team and the race calendar are strongly international and our team have to be professional and international too.” About the signature of Marco Tizza and the work experience he told: “We are happy about the signature of Marco Tizza as a rider and as teamworker. He will be a very important rider to support our leader Marco Canola. Our goal is to be back to the victory also in Italy with our leader Marco Canola, and for sure Marco Tizza will be a precious support to reach this goal. I want to thanks also the company Europa Ovini that gives the chance to him to start his #OrangeBlue experience with this special working activity, with the same philosophy of the work experience already done last year by Marco Canola, Alan Marangoni, Ivan Santaromita, Damiano Cunego and all his new teammates. A work experience important for riders to learn how inside a company the same teamwork approach is very important to reach results as it is inside a cycling team.”
