With the official presentation of the new Protos 2017, in the special team edition color, the new season of the NIPPO Vini Fantini team has officially started. An incredible surrounding, with 3 De Rosa generations together, in the hearth of the passion: the De Rosa Factory of Cusano Milanino.
The 2017 season of the NIPPO Vini Fantini team officially started. In a special evening inside the De Rosa Factory of Cusano Milanino the new Protos 2017 has been presented to the team and journalists. Already revealed to the world in Cycle Mode Japan, the big surprise of the evening is the new Protos 2017 team edition color.
This was the best way to open the new season and welcome the new arrival of the team, making them feel since from the very first begin the magic soul of De Rosa. At the same time also who is with the team since from the first year, as the leader Damiano Cunego, has been impressed from the new bike.

To welcome team and journalist all the staff and family of De Rosa, starting from Cristiano De Rosa, visibly excited in the moment of the presentation of the bike, designed by 3 generations of De Rosa. From Ugo De Rosa, founder, up to Nicholas, the son of Cristiano De Rosa.
The location was the perfect place for a such important presentation:

After two years of study, the research department of the team, gives to all the cycling addicted a new Protos that loose the 20% of weight, reducing the tube section, maintaining the same balance of stiffness. The material composing the new Protos 2017 is a mix of 3 carbon fiber, applied and measured to obtain a unique result: Carbon 50%, TI800+40% TI1000 +10%.
Thanks to the all round structure, this bike is perfect for any kind of rider and it is in the top of the range together with our SK Pininfarina and the King XS.
The Protos 2017, team edition, will be equipped with: Campagnolo Super Record Eps V3, Campagnolo wheels, IRC Tire tubulars, handlebar FSA, saddle Selle Italia.
