Amstel Gold Race 2016 with good and bad news for the #OrangeBlue team, great protagonist of the escape of the day Giacomo Berlato, with other 10 riders. Giacomo Berlato, that after the 4 escape n the Giro d’Italia 2015, today made his first escape in the International World Tour Race, the Amstel Gold Race. After 180 km of escape has been catched by the top part of the group.
A Sunday also of bad news for the team with the fall of Grega Bole. The General Manager of the team is with him at the hospital of Maastricht: “Grega Bole is now talking and also with the hit to the head and face is injured but ok to head and neck. Now he is at the hospital to check his conditions to all body.”
Giacomo Berlato, the escape man of the day comments: “The escape of today was part of our strategy, I have to thanks my team mates that worked for me, than after 180km of escape with cold and rain was hard to resist.
