Strong determination today for the NIPPO Vini Fantini with Alan Marangoni in the breakaway of the day, riding for more than 200km in front of the group and in the battle for the GPM leader jersey until the end with a 1st and 2nd position in the GPM. In the final part of the race a good action also of Hideto Nakane together with Moscon, Team Sky.

Second stage in Tirreno-Adriatico, first escape of the race and NIPPO Vini Fantini is in with Alan Marangoni that have been also in the battle for the GPM leader jersey. The #orangeBlue rider has now the same points in the special ranking of Davide Ballerini, team Androni – Sidermec, that is wearing the jersey for the better position in the General Ranking.
On the last climb of the day a good action also of Hideto Nakane, Japanese climber of the NIPPO Vini Fantini team that together with Gianni Moscon (team SKY) try to anticipate the group, but the two riders have been watched just before the last GPM.
These the words of Alan Marangoni just after the finish line: “It’s a pity for the jersey, after more than 200 km of breakaway, but many stages remains to try to get the jersey. If tomorrow I will try again? Difficult to say it now, legs will give me the answer tomorrow morning.”
A good start for NIPPO Vini Fantini team, that is looking forward to the stage of tomorrow, that could be a sprint arrival, perfect for Eduard Grosu.
