The Sports Directors Mario Manzoni and Valerio Tebaldi have selected a balanced line-up, that is growing up in condition after the Italian races (Tirreno-Adriatico and Milano-Sanremo) and the races of the North (Nokere Koerse and Handsome Classic). Very important for the team will be Marco Canola, the Italian rider coming from the good 20th placement in Milano-Sanremo and growing up is condition since the Tirreno. With him the young Italian talent Iuri Filosi and again Eduard Grosu, the other young sprinter of the team in a good condition.
As usual, the Coppi & Bartali roads will be hard, for this reason Julian Arredondo, Ivan Santaromita, the Japanese climber Hideto Nakane and finally Alessandro Bisolti just recovered from the injury, have been selected for this race. Last but not least Giacomo Berlato, the escape man of the team, at his first Italian race coming back from the injury and yet ready to escape since from the first stage and to help his teammates.
