The 4 Jours de Dunkerque is ready to start from 9th to 14th of May.

6 stages, 4 World Tour teams, 11 Professional teams and 8 #OrangeBlue riders ready to race. These are the numbers of the important French race of 2.HC category in which the NIPPO vini Fantini team will compete from this Tuesday 9th of May, until Sunday May 14th.

For such important race the Sports Directors duo composed by Mario Manzoni and Shinichi Fukushima have selected a balanced and ambitious line-up that with the enthusiasm and great condition already demonstrated in the recent races could be one of the surprises of the tour.

On the start-line Damiano Cunego, growing his condition for the most hard stages. The team will count on the great condition of two important riders as Marco Canola and Iuri Filosi.

The winner of the Volta Limburg, Marco Canola has been also the author of important podium and placement, last but not least the 6th place of Lugano.

With him the winner of the GP Lugano: Iuri Filosi. The young Italian talent finally finds the victory and have now a great condition. For the most hard stages the team has another climber he is Marino Kobayashi, the young Japanese born in 1994, back from a virus that stopped him in the last weeks.

For the sprint arrival the duo of sprinters Nicolas Marini and Eduard Grosu, well supported by the team-workers Alan Marangoni and Giacomo Berlato.

These the words of the Sports Directors Mario Manzoni:

“Hard race, against competitors of high level, but this is an additional motivation for us. We arrive to this race with a team with a good condition, but as usual to be competitive we will have to race as a team. So if when the stage will be a mixed one our leader will be Marco Canola, at the same time in the sprinters arrivals all the team will work for Grosu and Marini. Damiano Cunego is growing his condition, we will see stage after stage his level. Our “jolly” will be Iuri Filosi, that with the high motivation coming from Lugano victory could be our added value in this race. Kobayashi is coming back from his long stop so he now only need to race and will be important as team-worker together with Alan Marangoni and Giacomo Berlato.”
