Team NIPPO Vini Fantini, which has already introduced new professionals and scientific methods to the cycling world, continues along this road by choosing, with Chieti University, Biotekna as a partner. Together with FK team and the sports medicine division, a new expertise joins the team at Giro d’Italia.
Chieti University, together with the sports medicine division, are supporting team NIPPO Vini Fantini since the beginning of the season in order to analyze team’s cyclists. From today until the end of Giro d’Italia, the medical equipe will be using a new technology, selected by Chieti University and Professor Ripari. Thanks to Biotekna, Biomedichal Technologies, the team will be able to evaluate athletes’s bodies, their stress level and recovery before and after the race: a general picture, to be interpreted in one way only, globally. This activity will be added to the information and synthesis analysis that the medical equipe uses to monitor athletes during the important phase of recovery and will join the important results that the sports medicine division from Chieti Univeristy has already collected.
