A good start of Qinghai Lake for the #OrangeBlue riders with the second place of Daniele Colli in the sprint. Unlucky falls for Antonio Viola involved in the final part of the sprint. For him a broken wrist.
Tour of Qinghai Lake, first stage and sprint final. Daniele Colli already winner of two stages in Asia (In Tour of China) in 2015, try again to be a protagonist of the Asian races, reaching another podium. His second place comes from a good sprint where at the begin he was working for his team young mate, Nicolas Marini, young Italian sprinter that in 2015 reached 4 victories in the sprint arrivals.
“I was working for Nicolas Marini” tells Daniele Colli “while in the final part of the race a fall involved some riders. Nicolas Marini was not among them but he lose the train and so it was up to me to search for a result also if I already used some energies. I started soon, but then Rubiano comes back to me and won”.
The Tour of Qinghai Lake has just started, with many other stages to go, but the begin is very good for the team as results, but not so lucky because of the fall of Antonio Viola.
Today other 7 #OrangeBlue riders are going to race, in Italy, for the Trofeo Matteotti. Among them Damiano Cunego and the winner of 2012 Pierpaolo De Negri.
