The NIPPO Vini Fantini today rides the 7th stage of the Giro d’Italia, and to the start there wasn’t Daniele Colli, retired from the Giro yesterday few meters before the arrival hitted by the camera of an unkown “supporter”. The rider has been operated today by Londini doctor from Grosseto hospital. The surgery went good and Daniele will stay in the hospital until next week when e will be able to come back home and day by day coming back to the home training.
Tomorrow morning Daniele will report to the police against the unknown spectator that causes the yesterday fall.
In the meantime today the Giro d’Italia moved from Grossetto to Fiuggi, the longest stage of the Giro, with a very long escape of Pierpaolo De Negri of 220 km with a maximum advantage of more then 10’.00.
