During the training camp in Livigno, to the Alpen Village Hotel, in a meeting with the General Manager Francesco Pelosi, Daniele Colli has signed the new 2016 contract. Together with the captain Damiano Cunego, he will one of the leaders for the young riders of the team.
Livigno, Alpen Village Hotel. The signature on the 2016 contract has arrived very soon, and now it is official, Daniele Colli will ride his 2016 season with the NIPPO Vini Fantini jersey. During the first days of training camp in Livigno the captain Damiano Cunego and Daniele Colli have been with the General Manager Francesco Pelosi. The meeting has been a great opportunity to talk also about the future of the team. Damiano Cunego his already part of that project since from the 2 years contract that have been signed last year, and now officially also Daniele Colli is part of it, to continue in his role of leader for young riders of the team.
The promise made by the team the same day of the injury of Castiglione della Pescaia has been respected also before the coming back to official competitions of Daniele Colli.
Francesco Pelosi is satisfied of the renewal of this contract: “Daniele, together with Damiano, his a very important person & rider with a key role in the team. Our project is based on young talented riders that have to grow up with key & international riders with them, such has Damiano Cunego & Daniele Colli that have to lead them during their professional growth while competing in international races.”
Daniele Colli: I’m grateful to this team and to Francesco since from last year for the opportunity they gave to me. To yet renew the contract in this moment of the season is an important signal that me and Francesco want to launch about this project that look forward to the future. A future based on young talented riders, and for me to be a point of reference for them his an incentive to do better. They are learning a lot, also with my help and the one of Damiano Cunego and I’m sure that especially in 2016 some of them will do great things.”
Very important races still remain in the 2015 calendar of the team, but the road to 2016 is already clear. The young talents from Italy and Japan will keep growing together with top expert riders such as Damiano Cunego and Daniele Colli.
