The whole NIPPO Vini Fantini team works hard with the goal to give Eduard Grosu and Riccardo Stacchiotti the chance to win the stage. The result is a double podium, very close to the final victory caught again by Jon Aberasturi. The team is getting more closer to the victory working all together for the final result.
5th stage, double podium. In China the NIPPO Vini Fantini team worked with a strong determination, with the goal to battle for the victory. To go very close to the top result are Eduard Grosu and Riccardo Stacchiotti, coming second and third on the finish-line. A double podium coming from a great team work, with Hideto Nakane, Kazushige Kuboki and Damiano Cunego making an incredible job for their teammates.
THE RACE.
Stage very animated since the very first begin with a strong wind, the group remained only with the first 50 riders leading the stage. The whole NIPPO Vini Fantini is in, and all the riders are strongly motivated to reach the result. Nicolas Marini is not at the top today, so the goal is to bring Eduard Grosu and Riccardo Stacchiotti in the final battle of the sprint. At the end is a double podium, coming from a great team work. Hideto Nakane and Kazushige Kuboki worked hard in the final km to close on a short breakaway. Then is the team leader, Damiano Cunego, with his experience to lead the group giving to Eduard Grosu and Riccardo Stacchiotti the chance to start the sprint in a perfect position.
The final result is a double podium with the 2 NIPPO Vini Fantini riders behind Jon Aberasturi (Team UKYO) in a very good moment.

“The team worked in a very good way, before with Hideto Nakane and Kazushige Kuboki closing on a dangerous breakaway then, Damiano Cunego with all his experience helps us a lot to start the sprint in the perfect position, but Jon Aberasturi also today was very strong, congratulation to him. We are happy of this double podium together me and Grosu, but we work for the victory, we are yet looking forward to next stages.”
