225km of breakaway, 5 riders in the front, 2 #OrangeBlue: Nicola Bagioli, that maintains the leadership of the special KOM ranking and Sho Hatsuyama at his first big breakaway in a World Tour race such as Tirreno-Adriatico. On the final podium of Trevi Nicola Bagioli wear again the Green Jersey as KOM ranking leader.

He is very tired, but also happy of the result, the young Italian talent Nicola Bagioli. The green jersey is maintained and reinforced, after the 225km long action of today and the 3 KOM points collected by the young Italian rider Nicola Bagioli. He was not alone, with him other 4 riders and among them another #OrangeBlue rider Sho Hatsuyama. The Japanese rider of the NIPPO Vini Fantini Europa Ovini team did a wonderful double job helping Nicola Bagioli in the sprints and getting also 8 points in the special best climbers ranking.
THE RACE.
The Breakaway of 5 riders started since the very begin of the race, and two #OrangeBlue riders has been ready to get in: Nicola Bagioli and Sho Hatsuyama. In the first 2 GPM sprints the team-work of the #OrangeBlue is perfect getting them to reach the first and second position in both sprints. In the third one first place for Bagioli and third place of Sho Hatsuyama. Then the breakaway proceeds until the begin of the last lap, with Nicola Bagioli that has been one of the last rider to give up.
RIDER DECLARATION.
Nicola Bagioli on the finish-line have to find confidence with the podium, but yet find a perfect attitude to find the right breakaway. Again inside the right one today he reached all the KOM of the day and declared: “Today what a stage. Hard, but beautiful. We reached our goal as a team to put inside the breakaway me and Hatsuyama, to win the KOM of the day in order to maintain the green jersey. I have to thank my teammate Sho Hatsuyama he was perfect to help me in the sprints reaching also important points himself in the special ranking. We will think to the future stages from tomorrow, now I just have to recover energies. Maybe we can try another breakaway, but I still don’t know the right day to do it.”
