In Francoforte Damiano Cunego will lead the team, supported by Gianfranco Zilioli that come back to competitions after the injury. Pierpaolo De Negri will be the expert rider to support the captain. Special look also on the young talents of the team, Giacomo Berlato, Iuri Filosi, Antonio Nibali and Genki Yamamoto.
The NIPPO Vini Fantini team announce the seven riders at the official start of Gp of Frankfurt, next 1st of May. While part of the team will be involved in the final stage of the Tour of Turkey, seven #OrangeBlue riders will be racing in Germany.
To lead the team Damiano Cunego, supported by an experience rider of the team Pierpaolo De Negri. With them a good news for the team, the back to competitions of Gianfranco Zilioli after the Appennino fall. The rider is back on bike and he his again among the list of possibile riders for the Giro d’Italia. Young riders of the team will then have space and visibility. Giacomo Berlato, Iuri Filosi, Antonio Nibali and Genki Yamamoto will have the chance to make their race.
From Turkey, in first stages, arrived some very good and some bad news to the team. Good news from sport results, as the podium of Daniele Colli (2nd in the fourth stage) and the placement results with Daniele Colli (9th place in 1st stage) and Riccardo stacchiotti (10th place in 3rd stage). Bad news from the retirments of Nicolas Marini and Yuma Koishi. The Italian young riders hits the shoulder. Luckly nothing broken for him, he will be soon back on bike. Yuma Koishi hit the wrist, also for him nothing is broken, but due to the strong hit, some more rest day are possibile.
