After the important confirmations, renewals and contracts extension for the 2016 season it is time for the first new rider. Gianfranco Zilioli, climber of Androni Giocattoli – Sidermec in the 2015, will be an #OrangeBlue rider starting from the 2016 season.
The NIPPO Vini Fantini team is is delighted to announce the agreement with Gianfranco Zilioli for the 2016 season. Gianfranco Zilioli is the first new arrival looking forward to the 2016 season of the NIPPO Vini Fantini team. The #OrangeBlue riders, after the first year among Professional teams, have decided to confirm Daniele Colli and Pierpaolo De Negri to support the captain Damiano Cunego and many of the young Italian and Japanese talents. For this reason the few reinforce for the 2016 season will be strongly selected, in order to avoid any disturb to a strong team attitude, based on transparency with the public and enthusiasm
Gianfranco Zilioli, 25 years old, is now at his third season among Pro riders, where he won in the 2013 the GP Industria & Commercio of Prato. His role in the team will be to support the captain Damiano Cunego, giving also to the Sports Director Stefano Giuliani an important tactical change. For him many important placements in races as the Coppa Bernocchi 2015 and the Sibiu Tour 2014 with a participation also to the Giro d’Italia in the current season.

In this second season in Professional category we want to strength our performance and we are persuaded that for many of our young riders the 2016 will be a crucial year. For this reason the group has been confirmed with few new and selected riders chosen to upgrade the level of the team. Gianfranco Zilioli has been selected from our Sports Directors Stefano Giuliani and Mario Manzoni and according with the management also with our captain Damiano Cunego. For us was important also Damiano opinion because Zilioli could be in many occasion his first supporting rider during climbs and in long tours.”
