Eduard Grosu and his teammates are sure they can improve this results and are already looking forward to a victory in the second part of the Tour. The one of today is the podium n.9 of the season for Eduard Grosu.

Tour of China – Anshun › Anshun 128 km.
The last stage of the Tour of China I it ends with the podium of Eduard Grosu, second on the finish line of Anshun. The Rumanian sprinter is growing up his condition and today is able to use the teammates work to reach the second place. A good podium that gives new motivation to the team for the Tour of China II that will begin next Tuesday.
After the good placement of Kazushige Kuboki in the previous stage, important for the Asia Tour ranking, also today the first idea of the team is to work for him in the sprint. In the last bends Kuboki remains closed so it’s Grosu to try the final sprint, with the very good help of Damiano Cima, the trainee that is improving also his harmony with his teammates.
Eduard Grosu comments with these words the final part of the stage and his podium: “I’m quite happy about this second place, because we are growing up in condition. Damiano Cima worked very well before for Kazushige Kuboki, then for me. Behind me the group arrived very fast, but we tested the “train” with Kuboki and Cima that is with us from few races, but yet worked very well. For this reason we were able to reach the podium today. We are growing up in condition and we can look forward to Tour of China II with a good motivation. I’m sure that since from the very first sgage we can improve our results.”
From Tuesday 19th the Tour of China II will start. New stages and a new ranking with new possibilities for the #OrangeBlue team.
