This Saturday 4th of March the #OrangeBlue riders will ride the Italian monument Strade Bianche, from this year of World Tour category. On the start line Marco Canola and Ivan Santaromita will lead the NIPPO Vini Fantini team. Sunday will be time for the GP Industria e Artigianato in Larciano, race part of the Ciclismo Cup calendar.
The NIPPO Vini Fantini team is ready for the Strade Bianche, that from the 2017 season will be of World Tour category. On the start-line 18 Wt teams and only 3 Professional, among them NIPPO Vini Fantini team, that will ride with Marco Canola in a great condition after the Abu Dhabi Tour.
With him his teammate Ivan Santaromita that explored the roads last week-end together with Sports Director Mario Manzoni, the Japanese rider Kohei Uchima and the young Italian Neo-Pro Nicola Bagioli. In the official line-up also Iuri Filosi, Eduard Grosu, Yuma Koishi and Alan Marangoni.
This the comment of Mario Manzoni, that studied very deeply the road race: “As usual will be a very strong race, especially in the “white roads” part, but could become also stronger with wind or heavy rain. In my opinion there will room for an escape and we studied some specific parts where this could happen. Then as usual who will have legs will remain with the best rider in the final part. Among our riders Marco Canola is in a very good condition and Ivan Santaromita also can be a leader, but Iuri Filosi and Eduard Grosu, could try to surprise. For us will be really important also the race of Sunday, in Marciano. there we will have also Julian Arredondo together with Santaromita. If in the final climbs the group will resist also Marco Canola and Eduard Grosu can try something in the a final sprint.”
The Strade Bianche will be broadcasted Live by Raisport, starting from 1.30 pm, this Saturday, with arrival in Piazza del Campo, Siena at 3.30 p.m.
