With his experience he will support Valerio Tebaldi in the team foreign calendar, helping the team thanks to his great experience and deep knowledge of the Spanish cycling.

Joan Bou, born in 1997, will be the youngest trainee of the NIPPO Vini Fantini team for the 2017 season. He started to race when he was 13 years old in the Guti-Vinalesa Cyclist Club School and then passed in the team Juniores of the Foundation Alberto Contador. CIRCUITO DE GETXO AND VUELTA BURGOS.

Double race, double relevance. For the NIPPO Vini Fantini the 2 Spanish races are very important and very fascinating. The Circuito de Getxo is one of the historical moments of the Spanish cycling, since the 1924, year of the very first edition of the race. Then Vuelta a Burgos, race of 2.HC category, that will take place from 1 to 5 August. Together with the already described young Spanish talent Joan Bou, the team NIPPO Vini Fantini team will have to the start the winner of GP Lugano Iuri Filosi, the experience of Pierpaolo De Negri and the climber Alessandro Bisolti, together with the young Italian talent Nicola Bagioli, the Japanese talent Marino Kobayashi and the Japanese trainee Hiroki Nishimura at his debut with the team.

Valerio Tebaldi will lead the team, together with Stefano Garzelli.

Here his pre-race comment: “For the team these 2 races have a strong relevance, we really want to surprise our Spanish fans. Both races will be very demanding. In Getxo we will try with our fastest riders as De negri and Filosi that could make a good sprint if a small group remains, but we are also very curious to see what our 2 trainee Nishimura and Joan Bou will do. At the same time a rider as Alessandro Bisolti will be very important for us in climbers stage of Vuelta a Burgos. We are ready and we want to surprise our fans.”
