It is another podium, again of Eduard Grosu, 2° place for him on his home roads behind Oscar Gatto (Androni Giocattoli – Sidermec), the last good result of the Sibiu Tour. One of the great protagonist for the NIPPO Vini Fantini team has been Eduard Grosu with 3 podium on 5 stages. Two 2° places for him (incredible the one of the crono with less than 1 second from him to the victory) and a third place. More than stage results for him, wearing 3 different jersey, the leader one, the best Romanian rider and the green one (point ranking). Good results of all the team also in the two climb arrivals with Alessandro Bisolti (9° in the third stage) and Antonio Nibali (9° in the fourth stage). In the general ranking the best #OrangeBlue rider has been Alessandro Bisolti, 11° at the end of the tour.
Stefano Giuliani, that leaded the team from the team car is satisfied by his riders attitude: “There is satisfaction, also if some regrets for the missed victories. 3 podiums, 2 placement in the top ten, and the right attitude of all the team means that the riders has been working very well. For sure if in the crono we could be less than one second faster or in the sprint we could arrive few centimeters better now we would be counting victories and be even more satisfied. But this is the way to work and to reach victories. We also must consider that Damiano Cunego was missing for the climb arrivals, were he could battle both for stage that for global ranking leaderaship.
