After the Santini announcement, another important partnership has been signed for the next 2 seasons. Northwave will be the official supplier of racing shoes of the NIPPO Vini Fantini Europa Ovini team for the 2018 and 2019 seasons, with the model Extreme RR in white color, with red details. A full collaboration from technical race shoes, up to the podium shoes for all the team.

Northwave will be the new technical partner of the #OrangeBlue riders for the sport seasons 2018 and 2019. This represents another very important announcement about technical partnerships of the NIPPO Vini Fantini Europa Ovini team looking forward to upcoming seasons. After the new technical apparel made by Santini Cycling Wear, also the the race shoes will be totally new for the team, with the important entrance of Northwave among team partners, that for 2018 season has prepared the Extreme RR model, in white color with red inserts.
The partnership has been unveiled by the General Manager of the team Francesco Pelosi and Gianni Piva, founder and owner of Northwave, with the occasion of the visit to the Italian Lab and Headquarter of the company, located in Onigo di Pederobba (Treviso – Italy).
For the occasion some of the top riders of the NIPPO Vini Fantini Europa Ovini team have been visiting the Northwave central factory: Marco Canola, coming from a big season with 6 victories and the historic double in the Japan Cup and new leader for the 2018 season, the champion Damiano Cunego that was back to the victory in 2017 and now ready for his great final of career in #OrangeBlue jersey and the Italian National Champion of 2013, Ivan Santaromita.

The technical features of the Extreme RR has been discovered by the #OrangeBlue riders during the official visit to the Northwave factory, finding approvals and good comments by the PRO riders, as explained by Marco Canola: “In modern cycling the details makes the difference. In all my successes this year, in small or big sprint, has been the attention to the details one of the most important factors. The Extreme RR is very light, easy to secure when the going gets tough before the sprint or in the most important moment of a race before attacking. It is really studied to not miss a Watt of power and that makes the difference when victory can depend by a single detail and meter of difference.”
