Sibiu Cycling Tour, time trial. Eduard Grosu is now the red jersey leader in the race, as best Romanian Rider, one less than one second behind the winner of the stage Rafael Andriato (Southeast).
Eduard Grosu was riding on the home roads, after a good Giro d’Italia and a not so good national championship he was looking for a victory. Demonstrating great condition and determination he cannot scold nothing himself for coming so close to win this stage. The NIPPO Vini Fantini team could also be happy with the Iuri Filosi 8° place and the Giacomo Berlato 12°. Not a lucky day for De Negri and Chaparro that had troubles with their bike wheels and chain.
Eduard Grosu is regreting some little details that could make the difference: "I know the road, and I know where I make some little mistake. It was a very close time trial and also little mistake could make the difference.

I can understand his feeling but when you come so close to the victory you just have to be happy of yourself.
