The Romanian rider will lead the group of 6 riders of NIPPO Vini Fantini, in his “home race”, looking for a “revenge” after the two second place in last year stages and 1 day with the general ranking leader in Sibiu Tour 2015.
The next challenge for the NIPPO Vini Fantini team will be the Sibiu Cycling Tour, a prologue and 4 stages, where last year the team with Eduard Grosu went twice very close to the stage victory.
Stefano Giuliani, the Sports Directors that will lead the team, selected the riders with a good condition to try to improve the 2015 performance in Sibiu.
With Eduard Grosu on the start line also the “blue jersey” of the Tour of Japan 2016: Pierpaolo De Negri. The escape man Giacomo Berlato, again in action in the Italian Championship, will be ready again to support the team. The young Italian & Japanese talents Iuri Filosi and Yuma Koishi will have their chance and with them Gianfranco Zilioli, in a growing condition in June.
The complete line-up:
Eduard Grosu, Pierpaolo De Negri, Giacomo Berlato, Iuri Filosi, Yuma Koishi, Gianfranco Zilioli.
Eduard Grosu is looking for a result: “After the 4th place in national championship and the 2 second places of last year Sibiu Tour I really want to reach a good result. We have a good line-up, but then we will have, as usual, to compete with other good teams.”
