Escape of 8 riders with Daniele Colli and Giacomo Berlato that have been watched less than 50 km before the arrival, with a maximum advantage of 7’40’’. On the starting line all the best riders, from Peter Sagan to Valverde, with is team working a lot for the group and for him.
Damiano Cunego and Iuri Filosi maintained the group with the best riders behind the incredible escape of Valverde, Sagan, Stybar on the Santa Maria. Damiano Cunego closed on the 16th position and Iuri Filosi close with a great job his first Strade Bianche as a Pro rider. Well done also for Daniele Colli among best riders of the race in the escape. A good confirmation after the 5th place in the Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne.
