The Japanese athlete has signed a contract with the team directed by Stefano Giuliani for 2014 season. “I’m happy to be part of this group again and I have two important goals: win with this Team and climb Asia Tour ranking”.
After two seasons in Denmark with Saxo Bank Team, Takashi Miyazawa is ready to return with Farnese Group and Nippo Corporation. In the past few hours the athlete born in 1978 has signed a contract with italian-japanese Continental Team Vini Fantini – NIPPO – De Rosa for the next season.
"I’m so happy to join Vini Fantini – NIPPO – De Rosa Team in 2014 and I’m pleased to return to collaborate with Mr Valentino Sciotti (Patron of Farnese Vini Group, n.d.r) and NIPPO Corporation. Next february I will be 36 years old, but I strongly hope to race in Europe and I want to challenge in the world. I will never give up to come back to the top division of cycling, UCI world tour and more. I will participate not only European race but also many Asian races to gain UCI points".
The presence of Takashi Miyazawa will be critical from technical and human point of view: his experience gained over many years between Pro will be very important for young athletes in the Team who will be able to grow following his advice on race.
