Alan Marangoni, is very disappointed on the finish line: “I don’t know if I’m more exhausted or sad after this stage. In the last 3 days I’ve been working for the team everyday, than today it was my opportunity. We worked well in the breakaway then in the last km I made all my best to win, but the group arrived behind me very very fast. It’s a pity.”

Stefano Giuliani, tell about the team strategy: “Also a little bit of luck is needed. I think that we deserved to win at least one stage. Alan Marangoni went very close to win this stage, and all the riders in these stages demonstrated a great condition and determination. Today I just want to make my congratulations to Alan he went in the escape as suggested this morning and he went very close to the victory. He deserved to win it, but this is the sport, we will try again and again.”

Two stages to the end of this incredible Tour of Croatia where the #OrangeBlue riders already reached 2 podiums and 9 top tens, but they will continue to fight for the victory in the remaining stages, with a special focus on the last stage.
