Another podium for Daniele Colli, a second place that means another time the second position on the podium, really deserved after this epic race.
Colli was able to be in the escape of the day, also if it was a long and hard race, with 100 km of lateral wind and rain with only 5 riders leading the race. Unfortunately the escape has been caught by the followers, however Daniele Colli was able to made the final sprint, reaching the second place and going on podium. Also for this reason the most combative rider of the day is Daniele Colli. It is the second podium in 5 stages in
Tour de Qinghai Lake, for the NIPPO Vini Fantini and for Daniele Colli. The first podium arrived in the unlucky stage with the fall that have been seen worldwide for the incredible dynamic of a man crossing the road during the sprint. NIPPO Vini Fantini is now racing with only 6 riders due to that fall, but many stages still remain to race trying to reach to victory.
