TROFEO LAIGUEGLIA: THIRD PLACE FOR GREGA BOLE, SECOND PODIUM CONSECUTIVE FOR THE NIPPO VINI FANTINI.

The third place of Grega Bole, winner of GP Costa degli Etuschi last Sunday, closes another great race of the #OrangeBlue team. Not only the podium, also a long escape of more than 100km of Genki Yamamoto and the attack of Damiano Cunego on the last climb of Colla Micheri.

 Laigueglia, 14 of February.
Another great victory of the NIPPO Vini Fantini team, that closes with the third place of Grega Bole, again on podium after the victory of GP Costa degli Etruschi. Today winner is Andrea Fedi (Southeast-Venezuela), escaped before the last km of race and into the restricted sprint Sonny Colbrelli from (Bardiani CSF) and third is Grega Bole of the NIPPO Vini Fantini.
The day began again to the attack with Genki Yamamoto in the escape of the day, for more than 100 km. The escape has been watched before the first of 3 final tours in Laigueglia, with Colla Micheri and Capo Mele.
At last tour the attack of Damiano Cunego, at the begin of Colla MIcheri, that made the difference and started the final selection of the chasing group. Around 20 riders comes back to the #OrangeBlue leader, among them Iuri Filosi and Grega Bole that came third (second in the restricted sprint).

On the finish line satisfaction and disappointment for Grega Bole, that was looking to the “bis” of victories: “Me and Damiano we were feeling very good, we talked and we decided to try two different actions. When he attacked on the last Colla MIcheri climb he was going really fast! Then its a pity that in the final part Fedi escape. In the final sprint with Colbrelli we could fight for the victory. I really want to thank the team because today they have been working again the best way as possibile.. This other podium is again thanks to them.”

The DS Stefano Giuliani is really satisfied for the week in Liguria: “Has been a great week of training and test useful for all the season not only for this week-end. To close with a podium is great, in a so wonderful and difficult race, but the most important signal is to have seen many riders doing good things. From Genki Yamamoto in the escape, to Iuri Filosi in the best group and the attack of Damiano Cunego that when attacked made the difference and last but not least Grega Bole again, in a sprint with Clberelli (2°) and Felline (4°) demonstrate again that he could compete with all riders.
