RCS has unveiled the teams that will be part of Giro d’Italia 2015. NIPPO Vini Fantini De Rosa will have the chance to participate in the Pink Race thanks to one of the five Wild Cards, allowed by the organization.
RCS Sport made its choice and gave one of the Wild Cards to NIPPO Vini Fantini De Rosa for this new edition of Giro d’Italia.
An invitation that is already a great award, gained thanks to a special partnership between Japan and Italy that has young talents but also an excellent Leader, Damiano Cunego, supported by experienced and skilled riders.
An invitation that crowns the first season as Pro of the #OrangeBlue athletes and also the claim of the team: “Dream, Believe, Climb Your Blue Mountain”. A #BlueMountain that has been climbed by the team, waiting for this moment. Now this moment will open new opportunities to win: “ We are proud and happy to be part of this great event. We have to thank RCS that has trusted us and gave this big opportunity – declares Francesco Pelosi, NIPPO Vini Fantini General Manager – we are sure to be at the standard of the race, bringing our dynamism and a team that will liven up the competition thanks to its passion for the cycling world, without being only focused on results”.
The Main Sponsor Vini Fantini agrees with this statement: “ we strongly thank RCS for having invited us, believing in our team. As an italian team, it was fundamental for us to participate in the most important event of the World Tour calendar”. Not only Giro d’Italia, but also other races: the #Orangeblue riders will also take part in Lombardia competition, the classic race of fall season, that our Leader won three times. Damiano Cunego is enjoying the enthusiasm of the team: “thanks to RCS for the trust put on us. Giro d’Italia is The Race, where i was born, grown and been discovered. I will do my best and I want to give something to remember to all the fans of the Pink Race, without forgetting Lombardia race, where I will return motivated and determined to win”.
