In the occasion of the Italian Republic celebrations of 2nd of June, one of the jersey of Damiano Cunego Giro d’Italia has been gifted by the General Manager Francesco Pelosi to the Italian Ambassador of Tokyo: “We work to make grow this cultural bridge between Italy and Japan”.
70 years of Italian Republic, 150 years of commercial interconnections between Italy and Japan and a celebration of the 2nd of June, celebrated in Italian Embassy in Tokyo in the best way as possibile. In occasion of the celebration, the General Manager of the NIPPO Vini Fantini team Francesco Pelosi, with the President of Vini Farnese Group, Valentino Sciotti, have given to the Italian Ambassador Domenico Giorgi one of the Blue Jersey collected by Damiano Cunego in the last Giro d’Italia: “In the Italiam Embassy last year we have been presenting as preview, our team Italia-Japanese – explains Pelosi – we want to continue on this lucky moment and to take to the Embassy one of the symbols of this first part of our season.”
In the business trip of Tokyo, to meet Japanese sponsors and partners, Pelosi after the Giro d’Italia, went to Japan to follow also the Tour of Japan, other very important event of the #OrangeBLue season: “The cultural and sportive union between Itlay and Japan, it works very well and it is the interest of all of us, from sponsors to all the team, to keep on growing in this direction. We are proud of the network we build around the team and we are sure to have the right approach to a project of cycling that is looking forward to Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.” The Embassy visit has been also the opportunity to talk with Domenico Giorgi Ambassador on economic and sports themes of both countries, themes in which cycling is always more involved also from a strategic point of view.
