6 #OrangeBlue riders are ready to ride from this Wednesday 19th of June the Tour of Slovenia. 5 stages with opportunities both for sprinters and climbers, in preparation of the Italian Championship of the upcoming week.
This Wednesday 19th of June the Tour of Slovenia will start, with 5 stages to ride and 6 #OrangeBlue riders selected by the Sports Directors. A competition of good level both for the road and for level of the race, with 5 World Tour teams to the start and many Professional teams.
THE LINE-UP.
The NIPPO Vini Fantini Faizanè team will be at the start with the duo of young sprinters Giovanni Lonardi and Imerio Cima, supported by Damiano Cima, team man and fast rider to try to surprise again the competitors. For the hardest stages the experienced rider will be Ivan Santaromita, that could help with his experience not only the climbers but all the riders in race.
Alessandro Donati will be the Sports Director on the team car: “We are ready to face a strong race, with a line-up made of young riders, coordinated by an experienced rider such as Ivan Santaromita. For us will be an important test also for the National Championship. A couple of stages are very suitable to our sprinters Giovanni Lonardi, Imerio and Damiano Cima. For the hardest stages our young climbers Acosta and Bou will have to face a strong test, supported by the experienced rider Ivan Santaromita.”
The competition will be broadcasted live on Eurosport from 2.30 pm on Wednesday and from 1.00 pm all the following days.
