This Sunday 17th of February the official debut in the Italian race calendar with the Trofeo Laigueglia. The team will have a 7 riders line-up with Canola, Bagioli and Moser as leaders, together with Damiano Cima, Zaccanti, Hatsuyama and Lonardi.
The Trofeo Laigueglia will be the opening race for the 2019 Italian calendar. The NIPPO Vini Fantini Faizanè team will start with a line-up that is suitable for the technical characteristics of a race that has always been spectacular and insidious.
7 RIDERS IN THE LINE-UP.
There are 7 #OrangeBlue riders ready for the Italian seasonal debut, on the roads of Liguria. 203km, 1.HC category race with World Tour formations, Professional team and Italian national team with very competitive line-up.
To try to start in the best way as possible the Italian calendar, the team will field a trident composed by Marco Canola, appeared in good condition to Valenciana, Nicola Bagioli, fourth on the finish line in 2018 in Laigueglia and Moreno Moser, winner of the 2018 edition of Trofeo Laigueglia. The team will have a well-matched formation with the young Italians Damiano Cima, Filippo Zaccanti and Giovanni Lonardi and the Japanese Sho Hatsuyama ready to give their contribution to the team.

On the team car the Sports Director Mario Manzoni comments the race: “We are approaching the Italian debut, in the region where our team is based, the Liguria. An important race for us and suitable with our top riders skills. We will have 3 leaders like Marco Canola that demonstrated a good condition in Valenciana, Nicola Bagioli equally in good condition and fourth on the finish line of the Trofeo Laigueglia 2018. Finally Moreno Moser, recovered in extremis from a flu virus to Valenciana can not yet be the best but knows very well the path presenting itself as former winner of the 2018 edition. The work of all the supporting riders will be very important, from Filippo Zaccanti to Damiano Cima, from Sho Hatsuyama to Giovanni Lonardi, to arrive in the final and crucial stages of the race in the best condition as possible.”
