After the announcements of the team about new riders and special jersey of last Friday, it’s now time to race. The first important answers comes from Marco Canola that wins the Japan Cup Criterium in front of a great Japanese public.
38 km of city race, in Utsunomiya for the usual inaugural Criterium that precede the Japan Cup, the Japanese race of 1.HC category, the most important of the country. The NIPPO Vini Fantini team today was on the start line with the special jersey, made by MSTina, to celebrate the important home competition. The line-up is motivated and focus on the Sunday race, but wants to give a first satisfaction also today to the sponsors and many Japanese fans, so the team wants to play for the final victory.
For that reason 500 meters before the end is Marco Canola with a solo action anticipating the group, until the final victory. For him a good success the day before of the Japan Cup. A success that comes in a special season, the best one of the #OrangeBlue rider that already had 5 individual success and for the team, that already had 11 victories. Big motivation and trust looking forward to tomorrow race comes from this good results of Marco Canola reached today.

“After mechanical problem I changed bike with the spare one, then I came back to the bunch again and I stayed on the wheel until last lap. So I took last corner in the first 4 position and outside the corner I went for the sprint so far to the finish line but fortunately the power on the legs was enough to remain in the from until the end”.
